We’ve got a few Star Wars themed episodes to close the season with a bang.
In this episode, MA Regional Marketing Assistant Kim Dallas needs help sending a black V2 out of the main cave at our South Boston, MA location. She calls in the big guns and leaves a message for our head route setter, Mike Dominguez “Mig.” The message is intercepted by route setter Danny Howard, “DH.” Let’s hope Kim can crush the problem on her own while Mike convinces Danny to come to South Boston. Set by Keith Nadeau, “KN,” this climb features a challenging roof section. While there are multiple ways to crush a problem, if this one gives you a hard time, try this beta on for size.

Our South Boston Gym Manager, Tim Wolsonovich sends a purple V5 set by Cameron Mostoufi “Cam” at our South Boston, MA location. With a tricky start and some great movement around the roof, this is a great project for novice climbers and an excellent warm up for seasoned veterans. While there are multiple ways to crush a problem, if this one gives you a hard time, try this beta on for size.

Our Adult Climbing League is a climbing competition where teams of 3-4 will compete each week, scoring points for completed climbs, vying for the most points at the end of 6 weeks. Bonus fun points will be awarded throughout the season for things including most climbs in one night, climbing in a team uniform, and theme night participation. The team with the most points at the end of the season not only wins the admiration of their peers and a victory lap, but they will receive a $100 Rock Spot Climbing gift card, and individual prize packs.

Route Setter and Massachusetts Assistant Coach, Keith Nadeau, “KN” sends a Red V4 set by Head Route Setter Mike Dominguez “Mig” at our South Boston, MA location. This climb features some great crossover moves on pig snouts with hard drive-by slams.
