NEW HAVEN IS NOW OPEN TO MEMBERS

New Haven, CT on Tuesday, May 14 at NOON – We (Rock Spot Climbing) TODAY announced that we will be OPENING our brand new indoor climbing facility exclusively to members with 2,455 sq. ft. of climbing walls IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN NEW HAVEN, ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE LEGENDARY SALLY’S APIZZA in CONNECTICUT with ACCESS TO BOTH INTERSTATES 91 AND 95. Exclusive access for members and their guests will run until Thursday, May 16 from 3PM until 11PM daily. We will be OPENING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THIS FRIDAY from 11AM until 11PM, which will be our regular hours Monday through Friday, with 10AM to 11PM hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
This New Haven location is our company’s SECOND in CONNECTICUT, joining three others in RHODE ISLAND, and four more locations in MASSACHUSETTS. We pride ourselves in being a Southeast New England based company over twenty-five (25) years in existence; among the largest climbing chains in the country with nine (9) total facilities.
This NEWEST location focuses SOLELY on a form of climbing known as BOULDERING, where climbers, USING NO ROPES, scale climbing problems set on fifteen foot walls protected by a fully padded flooring system. This will be our fourth (4th) gym that focuses on this style of climbing. Our other facilities offer top rope and sport climbing along with boulder climbing. Along with bouldering, this facility will also feature a Rogue Fitness rig, a variety of cardio equipment, and both a Moon and a Decoy training board.
