Summer is winding down and the climbing season is almost here! A membership is a great way to get in shape to send those projects so we’re offering a great deal on a month of membership for the entire month of August.

Big thanks to everyone who helped us support and raise money for the American Cancer Society at the Belay for Life at our Peace Dale location! Such a great cause and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help so thank you.

Summer camps go until the end of the month so if you’re looking for fun activities for the young crusher in your life during the dog days of summer, register them today to lock down classes before they fill up. Youth Programs start in September so now is the perfect opportunity to learn more and register for the classes that fit your schedule perfectly!

With classes coming up, a lot of our climbers are starting to think about climbing outside so check out our awesome Guiding Program to learn how you can try it with us.

Our newest location in Providence has begun construction so be sure to like them on Facebook and follow them on Instagram for updates! Our South Boston location got some love in the form of a treadwall and we’re so excited to announce they’ll also be getting a Moonboard installed later this month!

After school & weekend youth climbing programs are designed for all ability levels, whether your child is brand new to climbing or has been scaling the walls for years.

Our small class sizes (4:1) allow us to get to know your child individually and provide the proper instruction to suit their abilities and interest. Your child will build friendships while they build their knowledge and self-confidence.

The Fall session starts on September 24, but check out our one week trial class period from September 10-16th!

The latest edition of the New England Bouldering Guide from Wolverine Publishing is in the shop. Gracing the pages are some of Rock Spot’s favorites like Mike Dominguez, Keith Nadeau, Sebi Krzaczek, Patrick McGuigan and AJ Pualani. Some of our favorite photos were taken by resident South Boston photographer Brian Lewis, so be sure to pick up a copy and ask for an autograph from your favorite climbers in the gym!

The excitement is high across all Rock Spot Climbing locations as we wait eagerly to begin wall construction at our newest location on 42 Rice Street in Providence, RI on the historic West Side of Providence. Construction has begun with a new AC unit already installed and our wall developer, Vertical Solutions coming in later this month to begin wall construction!

There are some fresh new training options for all of our climbers at our South Boston location! Looks like everyone is enjoying the Treadwall and we’re super excited to be working with climbing legend Boone Speed to get a Moonboard into the gym before the end of the month! With a fresh coat of paint on the walls, our Boston-Dedham location looks brand new! Join them for a celebration of our members, and our community on Sunday, August 26.

The fun begins as early as 8:30 AM with two FREE sessions of Toddler Time.

The day will continue with family fun including staff belayers all day, instructor lead youth program games, raffle prizes, a brand new set of climbs to try out, unlimited day passes for all members, prize opportunities for brand new visitors, amazing food, a crate stacking competition and a dyno competition!
