Get psyched for Connecticut!

We are proud to announce that we have agreed to acquire the Prime Climb business in Wallingford, CT in the coming weeks!

This marks the beginning of an initiative to expand the Rock Spot Climbing brand beyond our current region in our continued effort to make the sport of climbing accessible and inclusive for all ages, all abilities.

It will be an honor to be a part of the Prime Climb community as we add to the legacy that Prime Climb has established in over 30 years of business. As one of the original climbing gyms in the United States of America, it will be exciting to be part of the rich history the brand is associated with. There have been so many climbers that have either had their start or passed through the gym as the sport developed in New England, and we hope to welcome many more!

We cannot thank the current owner, Brien Roscetti, enough for all he and his family have done and continue to do to welcome so many incredible people into the sport of climbing.

Looking forward, we are honored to have Brien continue to play a major role as an ambassador for the sport.

We will make future announcements with more information regarding dates, events, and membership details.

Thank you all for your continued support as we can all become excited for big things to come.

If you, or someone you know is interested in working at this location, please contact our Southern District Manager, Greg Lowden at

Closing Update

We are excited to announce that we are anticipating taking over operations of Prime Climb in Wallingford, CT on Monday, January 24 before they open at noon (EST).

Immediately following the closing of this deal, we will be physically closing both the Prime Climb & Mountain Fun locations to make updates to the facilities and to train staff.

Once these updates are complete and the staff are trained, we will reopen Prime Climb under our management.

If the closing is delayed for any reason, both Prime Climb and Mountain Fun will continue under the current management and will open as usual.

Thank you all for your patience throughout this process. If you have any questions, please let us know by email and continue following our newsfeeds and social media channels for updates as they happen.
