Non-members who registered in advance will have access to the facility and the community will be able to climb with and talk to the owner of DECOY HOLDS and local climbing legend, Dan Yagmin!
Dan will be joined by our Director of Setting, Danny Howard in a FREE talk that provides basic instruction on the craft of route setting. Some topics will include setting with a purpose, setting with friends, how to give and take constructive feedback, and how to have fun throughout the entire process. There will be a Q&A at the end if there is time. We highly recommend everyone attending the clinic download the DECOY BOARD APP prior to the start of the event.
Once the setting talk finishes up, the community will have an opportunity to create routes on the DECOY BOARD and get feedback to enter their route into a fun community setting competition while we have other fun climbing games and giveaways through the rest of the evening!
While everyone is free to stay and climb until we close at 11PM, our guests will unfortunately have to leave us so be sure to give them a fun send off before they go and thank you for joining us for a fun evening of climbing!
