Route Setter and Peace Dale Programs Manager Greg Lowden, “GL” sends a yellow V2 set by Chris Simpson at our Peace Dale, RI location. While the holds are all jugs, this problem is a test of endurance for novice climbers and a great warm up for more seasoned veterans. We have to thank Apollo Media for helping grab a lot of these amazing shots. The opening shot in particular was captured using a drone. As always, while there’s multiple ways to crush a problem, if this one gives you a hard time, try this beta on for size.

We’re starting an adult climbing league in October 2015!

Teams of 3-4 will compete each week, scoring points for completed climbs, vying for the most points at the end of 6 weeks. Bonus fun points will be awarded throughout the season for things including most climbs in one night, climbing in a team uniform, and theme night participation. The team with the most points at the end of the season not only wins the admiration of their peers and a victory lap, but they will receive a $100 Rock Spot Climbing gift card, and individual prize packs.

If you’re looking to complete your team, please join us at your local gym’s Kickoff Event (see dates below) where you can meet other climbers looking to join!

This is a mobile friendly version of the pro division compilation.

We had an absolute blast at our very first Boston Boulder Brawl (B3). The turn out was fantastic and the energy was high all day long. Our route setters went all out to bring our climbers the best set for the competition. It was phenomenal to see the best boulder climbers in Boston show up and go head to head. We can’t wait for the next one!

We’ve been hard at work editing all the footage to show you our competitors taking down these amazing problems set by Head Route Setter, Mike Dominguez “MIG” and his incredible setting team.

Check out all our pros crushing with a great mix of veteran competitors and the next generation. The ladies make it to Brawl problem number 4 and the men go into super over-time as no one can send problem 5 and the competitors advance to problem 6 to break the tie.

We’re so proud of all of our competitors and hope to see everyone return for the next B3 with some new competitors to raise the stakes!
