In this episode of Problem of the SET, our team coach Matty Zane “MZ” takes us through a V5 set by Sean Robar “SR” at Rock Spot Climbing: Boston-Dedham. This problem features some great meat hooks and a meat flip that might catch you off guard if you’re not paying attention. There’s always multiple ways to crush a problem, but if this one gives you a hard time, try this beta on for size.

The Boston Boulder Brawl is a “last man standing” style bouldering competition, which will be held at the brand new Rock Spot Climbing South Boston. Four divisions will compete through the day for $10,000 in cash and prizes.

In this episode of Problem of the SET, route setter and Artistic Director of the Contemporary Theater Company in Wakefield, RI, Chris Simpson “CJS” takes us through a V6 set by Peace Dale Programs Manager, Greg Lowden “GL”. This problem features some heel hooks and a great arete. It’s a very technical climb so follow Chris’ beta and give it a try.
