Our Adult Climbing League is a climbing competition where teams of 3-4 will compete each week, scoring points for completed climbs, vying for the most points at the end of 6 weeks. Bonus fun points will be awarded throughout the season for things including most climbs in one night, climbing in a team uniform, and theme night participation. The team with the most points at the end of the season not only wins the admiration of their peers and a victory lap, but they will receive a $100 Rock Spot Climbing gift card, and individual prize packs.

At Rock Spot Climbing, we’re dedicated to giving our customers a world class climbing experience and that starts with great route setting.

In this episode of Problem of the SET, route setter and Artistic Director of the Contemporary Theater Company in Wakefield, RI, Chris Simpson “CJS” takes us through a V6 set by Peace Dale Programs Manager, Greg Lowden “GL”. This problem features some heel hooks and a great arete. It’s a very technical climb so follow Chris’ beta and give it a try.

I hope you like Tufas!!!
Don’t worry, they aren’t all for Peacedale. Two are going to the Lincoln Gym and one is going to Boston. Gotta keep things even. Otherwise we might have an uprising on our hands!

Uh oh…what’s in the box!?! About ¼ of our holds for the Peacedale Gym. 20 boxes. 80 lbs each. You do the math. That’s a lot of holds to move. And now to stray off the subject a bit…it’s very humid today. Very humid.
